Responsibilities
Registered Pharmacy Technician - Full-Time, Permanent - Moncton, NB - Healthcare
Perform accurate technical prescription processing, data entry, refill scheduling, labeling, and technical release, focusing primarily on packaging verification.
Manage pharmacy inventory by ordering, receiving, checking expiration dates, and conducting regular inventory audits.
Provide warm, helpful customer support to patients, clinics, and healthcare providers via phone and email.
Ensure full compliance with internal standard operating procedures and provincial pharmacy regulatory guidelines.
Maintain safe storage for ambient and cold chain pharmaceuticals, including monitoring temperature logs and reporting variances promptly.
Proactively resolve third-party insurance issues and assist with special authorization requirements for timely claim processing.
Assist with packaging and preparing medication shipments as needed, including occasional lifting of inventory boxes up to a max of ~50 lbs.
Qualifications
Registered Pharmacy Technician - Full-Time, Permanent - Moncton, NB - Healthcare
Active registration as a Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) with the provincial pharmacy regulatory body, or immediate eligibility for registration.
Graduation from a CCAPP-accredited Pharmacy Technician diploma program.
Physical capability to stand for extended periods and comfortably lift up to a max of ~50 pounds on occasion.
A friendly, approachable, and positive interpersonal style that thrives in a collaborative environment.
Hands-on proficiency with Kroll pharmacy software preferred.
Knowledge of third-party billing processes.
