We are looking for a motivated and goal oriented candidate for our client in Mississauga.
Position: Registered Products Administrator (Contract)
Location: Must be local to Mississauga, Toronto or surrounding area.
Hours of Operation:
Monday - Friday
8:30AM - 5:00PM
Start date - Oct 19th
End date - April 2, 2027
Salary - $28/hr - $32/hr

Responsibilities
- Process RESP withdrawals, transfers, and Educational Assistance Payments (EAPs).
- Coordinate and reconcile monthly government grant files and resolve regulatory discrepancies.
- Audit registered plan transactions (RRSP, TFSA, RESP, FHSA, LIRA, etc.) for Income Tax Act, CIRO, and internal compliance.
- Verify account adherence to contribution limits, withdrawal rules, and tax-deferred guidelines.
- Maintain complete audit trails to support regulatory record-keeping standards.
- Resolve operational variances (overages, ineligible withdrawals, grant variances) and escalate per SLAs.
- Reconcile daily Trustee settlements and correct cash/security discrepancies within the cycle.
- Execute lifecycle events, including RRSP-to-RRIF conversions, spousal attributions, and beneficiary updates.
- Advise internal teams and advisors on registered plan regulations (HBP, LLP, hardship, unlocking).
- Partner cross-functionally (Tax, Compliance, Estates) to support regulatory updates and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Excellent English communication skills
- Post-secondary education completed or equivalent work experience, paired with 1–2 years of experience in the financial services industry.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
- Core Competencies: Strong attention to detail, exceptional time management, ability to thrive independently in a fast-paced environment, and clear written/verbal communication skills.
- Work Authorization: Valid work authorization for Canada.
