Our client, a Quebec-based company specializing in industrial technological solutions, is looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to join a tight-knit and collaborative team. This is a stable, long-term opportunity for the right candidate!

Responsibilities
Handle the full payroll cycle for all employees (<70 employees)
Issue pay stubs and prepare Records of Employment (ROEs)
Manage source deductions and union remittances
Post payroll journal entries in the accounting software (Sage)
Generate weekly and monthly reports (statistics, CNESST, WCB)
Keep payroll data up to date in the payroll system (Empulse – Orange Digital)
Communicate with employees, unions, and government authorities regarding payroll
Apply adjustments related to collective agreement renewals
Reconcile payroll, remittances, and related entries on a monthly basis
Prepare annual reports (T4s, R1s)
Qualifications
Relevant experience in a similar payroll role
In-depth knowledge of Canadian payroll regulations
Experience working in a multi-collective agreement environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English
Strong attention to detail, autonomy, and ability to resolve complex issues
Well-organized and thorough in administrative follow-up
