This Senior Credit Risk Analyst role is ideal for a detail-oriented banking professional with approximately 3+ years of experience who thrives in a structured, compliance-driven environment. You will play a key role in providing day-to-day operational credit support—no project-based work—focused on credit processing services, compliance oversight, and risk monitoring for corporate credit portfolios.
This is a hybrid work model, requiring 1–2 days per month on-site at 595 Bay Street, 7th Floor, Toronto, with the remaining days remote. The team selects the in-office day. Standard hours are 37.5 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM), with potential overtime to support U.S. operations.
As a Senior Credit Risk Analyst, you will apply strong technical knowledge and independent judgment to manage complex credit portfolios, review documentation, monitor risk exposure, and act as a key escalation point within the team.

Responsibilities
As the Senior Credit Risk Analyst, you will be responsible for:
Credit Processing & Portfolio Monitoring
•Administering and monitoring established credit facilities within Corporate Credit and Capital Markets
•Processing transactions, margin calculations, and conducting detailed financial statement analysis
•Monitoring risk elements across complex credit portfolios and escalating concerns as required
Compliance & Documentation Review
•Reviewing complex loan documentation to ensure compliance with authorized credit parameters
•Confirming that conditions precedent are satisfied prior to funding
•Exercising delegated authority to maintain ongoing compliance with internal controls
•Escalating discrepancies or omissions to Senior Business Partners and/or Risk Management
Relationship & Stakeholder Management
•Liaising with internal clients and business partners to ensure accounts operate within approved credit terms
•Acting as a subject matter resource for deal structure and documentation support
•Providing coaching and knowledge-sharing within the team
•Supporting process improvement initiatives to streamline workflows
Qualifications
Must Haves
•Minimum 3 years of experience in banking
•Experience within a corporate banking environment
•Strong back-office operational support experience
•Proven experience reviewing credit documentation and supporting credit facilities
•Strong critical thinking skills and exceptional attention to detail
•Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Nice to Haves
•Experience supporting Capital Markets
•University degree or College diploma in Business, Accounting, or Finance (or equivalent practical experience)
•Experience working closely with multiple stakeholders and business partners
•Experience providing coaching or peer support within a team
