As a Control Advisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for working collaboratively across Risk Lines of Business (LOBs) to identify, document, and advise on internal controls tied to regulatory compliance risks. This position plays a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the institution’s risk oversight and governance capabilities.

•Provide subject matter expertise and guidance in support of Project Tempo deliverables.
•Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of current risk controls and recommend enhancements as needed.
Qualifications
Must Have:
•5–10 years of relevant experience in Risk Management, Internal Audit, or Control Advisory.
•Minimum of 3 years specifically in control advisory or testing roles within a risk or audit context.
Nice to Have:
•Industry certifications such as CPA, CFA, CIA, or equivalent.
•Experience in a Risk Management functional role within the financial services sector.
Soft Skills:
•Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills; able to work inclusively across teams.
•Proven ability to foster trust and build strong stakeholder relationships.
•Eagerness to learn, with a continuous improvement mindset.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills; capable of engaging with empathy and clarity.
