Responsibilities
As a Senior Analyst, you will be accountable for a variety of core tasks. Your responsibilities will include:
• Generating accurate and complete processes to measure and report on risk exposures.
• Ensuring risks are correctly measured, aggregated, and analyzed in accordance with established policies.
• Providing detailed analysis and monitoring of risk exposures, adhering to internal standards for issue escalation.
• Championing projects to improve operational efficiency and implement new or revised policies.
• Liaising with stakeholders across the bank, including front office traders, credit risk management, and technology groups.
• Performing ad-hoc analyses and maintaining a strong understanding of the analytical principles underlying financial derivatives.
• Managing operational risk through effective cross-training, documentation, and audit preparation.
Qualifications
Must Haves
• Three or more years of experience in risk management, compliance, or audit.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with a high degree of attention to detail.
• Strong knowledge of financial products and counterparty credit risk.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
• A self-starter with a high degree of initiative and a knack for adapting quickly to new challenges.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Nice to Haves
• A CFA or FRM designation.
• Prior experience in the banking sector.
• Technical skills such as Excel, SQL, VBA, or Python.
