This position requires a professional with a minimum of 3 years of industry experience and an existing background in collateral management. You must be a proactive self-starter who can own tasks from start to finish. This is a 1-year contract with the potential for extension and/or conversion to a permanent role. The position is currently Hybrid (minimally 1 day per week onsite), with the expectation that the onsite requirement may increase to up to 4 days per week starting in Spring 2026.

As a Risk Analyst III within Collateral Management, you will be accountable for core daily risk mitigation activities as well as contributing to ongoing operational enhancements:
•Daily Risk Mitigation:
oMonitor client portfolios daily, issuing and receiving collateral calls to ensure the firm’s credit risk is effectively mitigated.
oEnsure all margin tickets are accurately entered into the collateral system.
oAct as a key contact point through extensive interaction with clients.
oResolve and escalate collateral issues promptly.
oManage the reconciliation of repo collateral statements during margining disputes.
•Process and Risk Improvement:
oEnsure process reviews are conducted in accordance with the Global Short-term Markets Policy.
oProactively contribute innovative ideas to increase operational efficiency and lower operational risk through process reengineering.
oPerform control functions to ensure the integrity of collateral processes.
oStay abreast of risk issues in the capital markets and assess their impact on the firm's exposures.
•Stakeholder Engagement:
oEstablish and maintain close working partnerships with a wide range of areas including Credit, Middle Office, Legal, Front Office, Settlements, and Corporate Treasury.
Qualifications
Must-Haves
•Minimum 3 years of industry experience.
•Proven collateral management experience (specifically margining experience).
•Solid Fixed Income background and knowledge.
•Strong Excel skills, including proficiency with V-lookups and Pivot Tables.
•Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter/self-motivated individual.
•Ability to work independently and take full ownership of responsibilities.
Nice-to-Haves
•Post-graduate degree.
•Professional certification such as CFA or FRM.
•Prior Settlements experience/knowledge.
