As a Risk Manager, you will be an integral member of the Enterprise Shared Service Center team, focusing on the oversight of supplier risk management practices and ensuring adherence to established protocols across various lines of business. You will be responsible for executing Supplier Management activities to support Third-Party Risk (TPR) governance requirements. Key responsibilities include engaging with business partners and vendors, conducting supplier reviews and assessments, analyzing supplier spend, developing business cases, monitoring supplier performance, and supporting enterprise initiatives and change management within the Intra-Group Arrangements (IGAs) Supplier Management program. This role offers the opportunity to work in a hybrid model, with 4 days in the office and 1 day from home, in downtown Toronto.

Responsibilities
-Support day-to-day operations to enable IGA governance and oversight activities throughout the third-party lifecycle using various tools and applications to support adherence to Third Party Risk monitoring activities.
-Provide advisory support to key stakeholders in the Risk Assessment process, which may include clarification on communications on change management activities supporting the rollout of enterprise policies and standards, processes, and tools.
-Identify process gaps and make recommendations for driving efficiencies and improvements within the IGA Supplier Risk Management program and integration initiatives.
-Drive continuous improvements to ensure operational excellence, including maintenance, quality control, gap analysis, and opportunity of improvement of process and procedures.
-Develop, build and manage effective relationships across RBC Business Platforms, including IGA centers of excellence, supplier management offices and centers of governance.
-Resolve operational issues, risks and conflicts, work in collaboration with the key stakeholders, escalating where required.
-Perform risk management and compliance activities, business analysis and reporting, and initiative/project management.
-Utilize Archer – Supplier Risk Management Application (SRMA), advanced Excel (pivots, vlookup, formulas, power query), Tableau for reporting and portfolio analytics, Ivalua for procurement, and MS Office Suite.
Qualifications
Must-Haves:
-Business Administration degree (BComm / MBA) or/and Certified Third-Party Risk Professional (CTPRP) Certification, Canadian Risk Management (CRM) designation, Certificate of Professional Learning in Risk Management.
-3+ years of experience in Supplier Risk/Risk Management (Risk and Governance practices, Frameworks and methodologies, Supplier management life cycle).
-Working knowledge of Archer or equivalent Risk and Compliance tools and software.
-Strong communication & relationship management skills with the ability to present information effectively to diverse audiences and able to impact and influence senior management.
-Superior critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to self-manage.
-Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills (e.g. Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint).
Nice-to-Haves:
-Data management and data visualization, such as Tableau.
-Familiarity with the financial services/banking.
