      Job DescriptionQuality Specialist – Integrity Dig ProgramPrince George, BCContract Job Reference Code: ENBJP00009550Recruiting for our client, a major midstream company, we are looking for a Quality Specialist to join their team.This position is responsible to coordinate and execute Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) related activities working in collaboration with Operations, Contractors, and Functional stakeholders.A key component of the QQ/QC Specialist role will be to conduct Field Quality and QA/QC documentation assessments to ensure QA/QC requirements are being met by Operations, Contractors, and Functional stakeholders.This position leads all facets of investigations relating to quality incidents and assessment of the Dig Program processes, procedures, and work practices. The incumbent will serve as the investigation and assessment specialist and provide direction in the collection of all integrity dig QA/QC information, identifying non-conformances, and collaborating with stakeholders to address non-conformances and implement corrective action plans.ADVANTAGESThis a great opportunity to join a leading midstream company and to work with market leaders!RESPONSIBILITIESSPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:• Work with Dig Program Supervisor to develop the Quality Management Plan, Quality Roadmap, and related procedures on the Dig Binder, Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) guidelines, Field Quality Assessments, Turnover Package, KPI Metrics, Lesson Learned and any processes or procedures required as part of continuous improvement and future state design.• Develop a specific QA/QC Program Charter and design, manage and implement QA/QC deliverables.• Conduct a quality review of QA/QC implementation effectiveness on the Westcoast Dig Program to ensure continuous improvement of the QA/QC Program.• Review and ensure Contractor compliance with Inspection Plans, construction drawings and procedures, and other quality documents applicable to the work being performed.• Ensure all integrity dig field records are compiled, and the Dig Binder and required turnover packages are completed and submitted by Contractors to the Operations Lead and QA/QC Specialist for review.• Verity engineering work packages and specifications and the required QA/QC documents including site-specific QA/QC plan, input to method statements, Inspection and Test plans, etc. are submitted and reviewed by the Operations Lead.• Single point of contact for all QA/QC Dig Program related items, interfacing with stakeholders and contractors throughout integrity dig planning, execution and closure process.• Develop and maintain expert knowledge on both internal and external QA/QC policies, procedures, codes, standards, and legislation.• Coordinate with Field Engineering and Pipeline Integrity on specifications, standards, and code revisions as required.• Analyze integrity dig non-conformance and develop recommendations related to preventative/ corrective action implementation. Monitor preventive/corrective action implementation to ensure that appropriate action items are closed out.• Review standards and code enhancements to ensure integrity dig work processes are at par with QA/QC industry standards.• Conduct Field Quality Assessments and document QA/QC integrity dig deficiencies to focus on improvement opportunities to enhance Dig Program execution performance.• Identify and analyze QA/QC trends in integrity dig non-conformances, and provide recommendations to the Operations Leads and Dig Program Supervisor to address performance deficiencies and support continuous improvement.• Responsible for compiling, analyzing, and distributing Dig Program QA/QC metrics, trends, and recommendations for improvement to the Dig Program Supervisor, Operations Leads, and key stakeholders.• Collaborate with Health and Safety, and Environment to ensure regulations relating to health, safety, and the environment are adhered to.• Perform periodic Field Quality Assessments using a standard checklist to identify QA/QC non-conformances.Scope:• Works independently on complex QA/QC issues and demonstrates broad business and technical knowledge in resolving problems, project management, identifying opportunities, and has a keen awareness of interrelationships with other stakeholders.• Develops QA/QC recommendations and makes responsible decisions that provide a technical basis for making critical business decisions.QUALIFICATIONSKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:• Professional certification in PMP, Quality Management, or equivalent is an asset.• Minimum 10 years’ experience in a Quality management role, at offices and at construction sites.• Thorough knowledge of Engineering, Supply Chain, Fabrication, and Construction Quality processes as part of project execution.• Thorough understanding of Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Quality Planning, and Total Quality Management.• Experience with Process Safety Management.• Excellent working knowledge of applicable Canadian codes and standards (such as the Z-662).• Excellent working knowledge of applicable legislation.• Advanced knowledge of related office software and/or office communications technology.• Ability to rapidly acquire a working knowledge of company databases, company structure, and standard operating procedures, and/or office communications technology.• Strong facilitation, communication, analytical skills, and ability to establish good working relationships.• Demonstrated commitment to continued education and learning.• Ability and willingness to travelSUMMARYQuality Specialist – Dig ProgramPrince George, BCContract Job Reference Code: ENBJP00009550
