Hours: 5 days/week on-site 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)AdvantagesWhat’s in it for you!As an IT Deployment Technician with our Burnaby client, you’ll receive:•Great team culture Large enterprise •Contract likely renew •Competitive hourly ratesResponsibilitiesWhat will you do?To qualify for the IT Deployment Technician role with our Burnaby client, you'll:•Preparing for OneDrive Migration and computers set up•In collaboration with the Service Delivery Manager, confirm migration plan for each day•Have all documentation ready prior to each migration/Autopilot and follow it step by step•Migrate user data to OneDrive and prepare BCH computers with our new corporate image•For computer re-placement or new computers, coordinate equipment pick ups or shipments (when applicable)•At the end of the migration/Autopilot, send a welcome to OneDrive/Autopilot email to the end user and include all the supported documentation and How-To guides•Bring obsolete equipment back to IMT department for disposal•Address and resolve issues reported by users after their migration/Autopilot is complete•Some items we anticipate that users may need assistance with: o Setting up their new signature in Outlook o Reinstalling their network printers o Reinstalling software that they are licensed to use•Update the file that tracks the status of the project•Organize details of next migration/Autopilot•Other tasks may be assigned within the context of the Modern Digital Workplace project as required.QualificationsHow do you qualify?To qualify for the IT Deployment Technician role with our Burnaby client, you must have:•Minimum two years progressively more complex and responsible work experience.•Two years of experience supporting desktop workstations and associated peripherals.•Two years providing first-line or desktop support to users.•Experience with Windows 10, Office 365, Intune, End Point Manager, Azure AD in a corporate environment•Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered for the role.Preference will be given to candidates with the following experience:•Extensive knowledge of desktops, laptops, and all peripherals.•Ability to train users.•Physical ability to lift computer equipment.•Excellent organizational and analytical skills.•Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.•Work within a team of technical analysts and be a team player.•Ability to gather and document hardware details as well as the configuration of hardware.•Excel working under pressure to me.SummaryIf this sounds like you, then the IT Deployment Technician role with our Burnaby client could be the perfect opportunity for you!Please contact Apurva Shaw with your resume at:apurva.shaw@randstad.caRandstad Canada is committed to building a diverse workforce reflective of the diversity of Canada.
