Responsibilities
Order and Quote Management:
Accurately enter customer orders into the system.
Gather information from service technicians to prepare detailed quotes.
Respond to internal and external product inquiries, provide pricing, and handle complex requests using your expertise.
Influence profitability by negotiating purchase and sale prices within established parameters.
Adjust pricing for non-contract customers based on market conditions and competition.
Independently manage purchasing activities.
Plan and schedule service technicians' work in the system.
Source required products (from local inventory, distribution centers, or suppliers).
Determine the most cost-effective shipping method for orders.
Follow-up and coordination: Manage backorders, track materials, and occasionally prepare shipments or handle customer returns.
Qualifications
Experience in a similar role.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in both French and English; a good command of English is required due to frequent daily communication with the United States and Ontario.
Excellent time management, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask.
Proficiency with computer tools and order management systems.
Meticulousness, reliability, and attention to detail.
Basic knowledge of industrial products (a major asset).
