We’re hiring a Sales Manager – North America on behalf of an international manufacturer of engineered lightweight aggregates. This role blends strategic growth with team leadership—ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on, growth-focused environment.

Responsibilities
* Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow market share in targeted sectors (construction, building materials, specialty applications)
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities, from initial contact to contract negotiation
* Strengthen relationships with key accounts, channel partners, and distributors
* Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform sales strategy
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, operations) to align goals and deliver on customer expectations
* Deliver accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management using CRM tools
* Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings
Qualifications
* 10+ years of B2B sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or team management capacity
* Proven success selling into industries such as: Lightweight aggregates, construction fillers, industrial minerals, glass-based materials, or sustainable building components (REQUIRED)
* Strong understanding of value-based and technical solution selling
* Experience managing a North American territory with complex sales cycles
