Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Representative with a strong focus on the architecture and design community. This individual will be responsible for promoting, specifying, and selling flooring and wall solutions across the GTA and Eastern Ontario. The ideal candidate will leverage strong product knowledge and interpersonal skills to build lasting relationships with architects, designers, end-users, and other key stakeholders in the territory.

Through training and experience, the Sales Representative will advise, influence, and drive product specifications with architects, interior designers, contractors, and end-users. Candidates must be results-oriented with a strong focus on sales performance and pipeline development.

Responsibilities
Business Development:
Generate specifications through relationship selling to architectural, design, and end-user groups.
Call on general contractors and flooring contractors to support project specifications.
Relationship Management:
Participate in industry trade shows and events to network with architects, designers, and end-users.
Resolve customer concerns by investigating issues, developing solutions, and recommending next steps.
Administration:
Stay current on industry knowledge through workshops, professional publications, and networking.
Submit timely activity and progress reports, such as monthly project updates.
Qualifications
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to thrive both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
Strong results-driven mindset with proven sales focus.
Effective time and territory management skills.
Proficiency with computers and standard business software.
Experience working with (or strong affinity for) the design community is an asset
