Salesforce Financial Service Cloud Dev

In this hands-on engineering role, you will design, build, and optimize custom software components within the Salesforce platform, with a specialized focus on Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC). Operating within a distributed Agile environment, you will use modern frameworks and engineering best practices to deliver scalable, high-performing CRM solutions tailored to complex wealth management, banking, and financial services workflows. As a senior technical contributor, you will collaborate across software delivery squads, mentor junior developers, and partner with product managers to align technical architectures with strategic business objectives.

Duration: 6-Month Contract (with high potential for extension)

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2–3 days per week on-site at the corporate office in Toronto, ON)

Responsibilities
Custom Software Development: Design, code, test, and deploy scalable custom software solutions and components across the Salesforce ecosystem using Apex, LWC, and custom APIs.

Financial Services Cloud Optimization: Implement and enhance Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) features to support complex financial workflows, client management, and wealth management capabilities.

Agile Delivery & Collaboration: Participate actively in distributed Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, code reviews, and backlog estimation, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software releases.

Technical Mentorship & Governance: Support and guide peer developers by sharing technical expertise, establishing code quality standards, and fostering a collaborative engineering culture.

Stakeholder & Product Alignment: Collaborate closely with product managers, solution architects, and business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into robust technical designs.



Qualifications
Salesforce Development Experience: 4+ years of dedicated, hands-on experience developing custom solutions on the Salesforce platform.

Financial Services Cloud Expertise: Strong, practical experience designing and configuring Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) architectures.

Agile & Product Management Literacy: Solid knowledge of Agile methodologies (Agile Distributed Development), Agile project execution, and software product management practices.

Custom Engineering Skills: Advanced proficiency in Apex programming, Lightning Web Components (LWC), API integrations, and custom system architectures.

Soft Skills & Leadership: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proven capability to collaborate effectively across multi-disciplinary teams.

Preferred Assets & Certifications
Active Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I/II, Salesforce Certified Financial Services Cloud Accredited Professional, or Salesforce Certified Application Architect).

Experience developing within large-scale financial institutions or corporate banking environments.
