Responsibilities
Here are the responsibilities for this SAP Finance Analyst at this well known non-profit Company in Montreal;
Incident and Problem Management
Investigate incident tickets, problems, and change requests to ensure system stability and performance.
Business Advisory and Best Practices
Recommend business best practices and propose value-added solutions by performing contextual analyses to advise the client on appropriate choices.
Requirement Gathering
Collect business, functional, and non-functional requirements to propose tailored technical solutions.
Planning and Estimation
Participate in the planning and effort estimation of activities and deliverables for upcoming projects and maintenance cycles.
Solution Design
Actively participate in workshops to elaborate on solution design and translate operational requirements into functional specifications.
System Configuration
Configure the SAP system according to specifications and maintain rigorous documentation of all configuration changes.
Testing and Validation
Participate in solution validation documentation (integrated tests), identify and write test cases, and execute/document tests prior to deployment.
Upgrades and Knowledge Transfer
Analyze module upgrades (patches and version upgrades) and act as an expert mentor to internal team members to develop their module expertise.
Qualifications
Here are the qualifications required for this SAP Finance Analyst at this well known non-profit Company in Montreal;
University degree in Computer Science, Management, or equivalent experience.
3 to 5 years of experience in an identical SAP Analyst role.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in analysis and configuration of SAP Finance solutions (FI/CO modules) on ECC6.
3 to 5 years of experience in analysis and configuration of SAP Finance solutions with S4/HANA.
Participation in 1 or 2 SAP S4/HANA projects in a similar position (strong asset).
SAP Certification for the relevant module (asset).
Knowledge of Agile methodologies (asset).
Dual competency (IT and Business Domain) with mastery of configuration corresponding to the business area.
Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and demonstrated leadership.
Strong team spirit, customer-oriented, and ability to manage multiple files simultaneously.
Fluency in French (oral and written) and a good working knowledge of English.
