Do you stand out for your attention to detail, speed of execution, and priority management? Are you looking for a permanent role where your bilingualism and logistical mindset will have a direct impact on people's lives?
Our client, an established and recognized provider in the home care services sector, is seeking a Bilingual Dispatch & Scheduling Agent to join its team in Montreal-Est.
...
Your Day-to-Day:
As the operational heartbeat of the organization, you will orchestrate the strategic matching between our home health aides and elderly clients. Concretely, you will manage schedule planning using our specialized software (Maya), handle urgent requests, and maintain smooth, empathetic, and resilient communication with clients and field staff.
Why This Opportunity Stands Out:
- High-Impact Role: Ensure the continuity of essential services for senior clientele.
- Engaging Logistical Challenge: A dynamic daily routine focused on problem-solving, priority management, and achieving clear performance goals.
- Stable Work Environment: Permanent daytime position (35 hours/week) within a human-centered organization.
Advantages
Competitive Compensation: Your base salary is $23/hour.
Performance Bonus: You can earn a 25% bonus on your base salary, paid quarterly, bringing your total potential hourly rate up to $29.50/hour.
Permanent Employment: A stable, full-time position (35 hours/week).
Flexibility (Partial): You benefit from a flexible schedule where you choose your arrival time between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. (the chosen time then becomes fixed).
Human Environment: You join a "good-natured" team with great cohesion.
Responsibilities
Mastering Scheduling/Dispatch: You manage the full placement process for caregivers, ensuring compliance with matching criteria while guaranteeing our employees meet their minimum work hours.
Managing Urgency: You react quickly to unforeseen events, such as last-minute absences, and immediately find a solution.
Communicating Effectively: You maintain contact with clients and caregivers, demonstrating the patience and resilience necessary with our elderly clientele.
Detail and Rigor: You multitask, handling multiple data streams simultaneously, entering information into the Maya software, and carrying out the necessary file coding.
Qualifications
Bilingualism (French/English): Your ability to communicate in both languages is a must to serve our growing clientele in the West. You communicate daily with English-speaking clients located outside of Quebec.
Experience in Scheduling or Dispatch: You have previously handled complex schedules or managed similar logistics.
Versatility and Speed: You can operate multiple systems and data streams simultaneously, with strong resistance to pressure and a drive to do things "quickly and well".
Rigor: You are comfortable being evaluated on objectives (KPIs) and performance criteria.
Note: Hiring is conditional on a criminal background check.
