He carries out planned rounds, manages access control (creation and management of GX cards), welcomes visitors and subcontractors according to protocols, and ensures the compliance of equipment and sensitive areas. He writes daily and event reports, intervenes in emergencies and collaborates with the HR, maintenance and operations departments to ensure a safe and compliant environment.

Responsibilities
An overview of your position as a Security Agent:
•Ensure the physical safety of people, property, and facilities by adhering to company policies.
•Conduct regular rounds (interior and exterior) according to the established plan, inspecting critical points and documenting observations.
•Manage access control: create, deactivate and reuse GX cards, assign lockers, check access levels.
•Welcoming visitors and subcontractors: verifying identity, work permit, dress code and ensuring compliance with check-in procedures.
•Monitor systems and equipment: compressors, chillers, generators, air conditioner drains, recording the required parameters and escalating anomalies.
•Write daily and event reports, recording any out-of-routine situations and ensuring the transmission of information to the next shift.
•Communicate effectively with teams via email, Teams and radio, and perform page and communication tests according to protocols.
•Intervene in the event of an emergency (fire, alarm, incident) in accordance with established plans and in collaboration with internal brigades.
Qualifications
You are the ideal Security Agent if you have:
•High School Diploma or equivalent.
•First aid and CPR training (mandatory or to be obtained after hire).
•Relevant experience in security or surveillance (1 to 2 years) – including experience in a factory or industrial site, or through a security agency.
•Basic computer skills (Office Suite) and ability to use access control systems (internal training offered for GX).
•Bilingualism (French and English) required to interact with visitors and understand technical documentation.
•Good physical condition to carry out extended rounds and work outdoors.
