Reporting to the Building Maintenance Supervisor, the Security Officer ensures the protection of people, property, and facilities by strictly applying company procedures.

Responsibilities
đź”§ A day in the life of a Security Officer
•Ensure safety of employees, visitors, and facilities
•Perform regular patrols (indoor and outdoor)
•Inspect critical areas and report anomalies
•Manage access control (GX cards, lockers, permissions)
•Welcome and verify visitors and contractors
•Enforce protocols (ID, permits, dress code)
•Monitor equipment and report irregularities
•Write daily and incident reports
•Communicate with teams via radio, email, Teams
•Respond to emergencies (fire alarms, incidents, etc.)
Qualifications
âś… What makes a strong Security Officer
•High school diploma or equivalent
•1–2 years experience as a Security Officer or similar role
•First Aid / CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
•Bilingual (French / English)
•Physically able to perform extended patrols
•Strong attention to detail and observation skills
•Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations
•High level of integrity and confidentiality
•Reliable, autonomous, and professional
•Basic computer skills
