Firewall Design, Rule Provisioning & Lifecycle Delivery
Security Rule Provisioning: Lead the end-to-end delivery of enterprise firewall solutions across physical and cloud-based platforms, aligning with global security architecture and network standard operating procedures.
Policy Adaptation & Onboarding: Develop, assess, and implement security-driven firewall rules to support immediate business application deployments, system enhancements, and new asset onboarding.
Micro-Segmentation Engineering: Partner with application teams and asset owners to map, design, and isolate critical infrastructure components using network virtualization tools like Palo Alto, Guardicore, and Netskope.
Governance, Stakeholder Integration & Operational Excellence
Risk & Control Compliance: Ensure all rule implementations strictly comply with internal corporate security standards, financial regulatory obligations, and audit expectations.
Change Governance Enforcement: Drive disciplined change management practices using ServiceNow, ensuring all customized security policies are peer-reviewed, documented, and production-ready in alignment with ITIL frameworks.
Tier 3 / Tier 4 Incident Triage: Provide senior-level support and technical consultation for complex network security issues, diagnosing execution bottlenecks, and executing root-cause fixes to avoid business service disruption.
Stakeholder Alignment: Collaborate closely with distributed network engineering, infrastructure operations, and technical leads to translate functional business rules into secure, bulletproof firewall configurations.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 5+ years of progressive professional experience specializing in enterprise firewall technologies, network security administration, or technical infrastructure protection.

Operational Framework Fluency: Solid working experience navigating structured corporate environments using ServiceNow under ITIL V3 (or newer) change management and service operation protocols.
Hybrid Networking Acuity: Practical understanding of how disparate infrastructure elements (switches, cloud endpoints, microservices, and perimeter guards) mesh safely within a hybrid enterprise landscape.
Soft Skills: Exceptional troubleshooting, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Highly developed written and verbal communication skills appropriate for an advisory role, with a proven ability to influence positive technical outcomes and explain risk transparently to delivery partners.
