Responsibilities
Drive Month-End: Take full ownership of manual journal entries and adjustments to ensure a clean 3-day month-end close.
General Ledger Management: Reconcile accounts and maintain the accuracy of the GL within a user-friendly, niche ERP system.
Payroll Support: Utilize your knowledge of Canadian payroll regulations to support internal compliance and reporting.
Operational Accounting: Support the Controller and Accounting Manager with ad-hoc reporting and manual data tasks as required.
Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience, preferably in a distribultion or high-volume environment.
Month-End Expertise: You aren't intimidated by a 3-day close; you have a proven track record of meeting tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
Tech-Savvy: Strong ERP experience (SAP or similar) and Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills.
Credentials: A CPA designation is a strong asset, but we will also consider candidates with equivalent experience.
