Reporting directly to the Head of Accounting, you will take ownership of the General Ledger for a complex, multi-entity retail ecosystem. This is not a "maintenance mode" position; it is a high-volume, hands-on role where you will manage the accounting for 40+ distinct cost centers and over 50 corporate dimensions.
You will be stepping in during a critical period of growth and technology upgrades, playing a key role in the migration from Microsoft Dynamics NAV to Business Central.

Responsibilities
- High-Volume GL Management: Can you manage day-to-day GL operations across dozens of corporate entities? You will ensure accurate booking of revenue, expenses, and intercompany transactions
- Inventory & Costing: Are you detail-oriented enough to catch variances in a high-SKU environment? You will oversee costing, valuation, and reconciliation between the sub-ledger and GL
- ERP Migration: Are you tech-savvy? You will act as a financial subject matter expert in the transition from Dynamics NAV to Business Central over the next 6–8 months
- Reconciliations: Can you troubleshoot data discrepancies without getting overwhelmed? You will perform rigorous bank and balance sheet reconciliations (individual accounts for each store)
- Audit & Compliance: Do you have experience with ASPE? You will prepare audit working papers and assist in the transition toward full external audits (Big 4 standard)
Qualifications
Experience - You have 3–6+ years of full-cycle accounting experience, ideally within a Retail or high-volume multi-entity environment
Designation: You a CPA or other professional accounting designation
Technical Skills: You have hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) or Business Central? (This is a strong preference but not a must)
Excel Mastery: You can handle massive datasets using Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
Soft Skills: You self-directed with a "roll-up-your-sleeves" attitude and someone who spots a problem and is solution oriented
