Responsibilities
-Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
-Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including reconciliation
-Process bi-weekly payroll in accordance with employment standards and regulations
-Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports for month-end close
-Accurately file HST, source deductions, and other statutory remittances on schedule
-Support year-end processes, including preparation of T4s, T5s, and other reporting requirements
Qualifications
-Proven experience in system implementation
-Comfortable with both full-cycle AP and AR
-Experience with payroll processing and tax filings (HST, source deductions, T4s, etc.)
-Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, reconciliations)
-Strong knowledge of accounting standards and payroll regulations
