Responsibilities
The Senior accounting analyst position will have the following responsibilities, among others:
- Ensure the proper recording of accounting transactions;
- Supervise the payables and receivables cycle;
- Close accounts monthly;
- Collaborate in the preparation of internal financial statements;
- Analyze the balance sheet and income statement accounts monthly;
- Carry out certain occasional analyses;
- Participate in special projects;
- Collaborate in the preparation of the annual budget, in particular by providing financial information on certain cost categories;
- Participate in the continuous improvement of financial and accounting processes.
Qualifications
We are looking for the following qualifications for this Senior acccounting analyst position:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting;
- CPA title, an asset;
- Experience with the complete accounting cycle;
- 3-5 years of experience in an accounting role;
- English and French bilingualism;
- Sense of organization and responsibility;
- Ability to work with employees from all levels of the organization.
