Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities for multiple entities
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, related notes, and management reports
- Perform advanced financial analyses: actual vs. budget/forecast variance analyses, trend analyses, margin and profitability analyses
- Identify financial risks, operational inefficiencies, and cost optimization opportunities
- Prepare ad hoc analyses and financial presentations for senior management
- Collaborate with FP&A teams to ensure consistency between accounting results and financial forecasts
- Participate in compliance processes and control documentation
- Participate in the implementation, optimization, or upgrade of financial systems and ERP
- Develop and maintain tracking and reporting tools (dashboards, analytical models, automated reports)
- Agir comme référence technique pour les questions comptables complexes au sein de l’équipe
Qualifications
- Degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- CPA certification or equivalent, a major asset
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Advanced Excel (Search V, Pivot Tables)
