Responsibilities
• End-to-End AR Management: Handle full-cycle accounts receivable duties, including credit analysis, vendor creation, payment processing, and backup invoicing.
• Collections & Portfolio Oversight: Actively manage, pursue, and resolve complex, high-value, and sometimes slow-paying accounts across public-sector and municipal clients.
• Communication & Stakeholder Management: Professionally negotiate collection terms and resolve billing disputes with U.S. and Canadian clients, balancing firm collection practices with diplomacy.
• Reporting & Aging Analysis: Perform weekly aging analysis and generate AR reports for management tracking.
• Compliance & Tax Filings: Prepare and complete monthly sales tax, GST, and PST filings (training provided if necessary).
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner effectively with internal Sales and Customer Service departments to clarify account status and accelerate collections.
Qualifications
• Experience: 3+ years of dedicated, full-cycle Accounts Receivable and B2B/B2G collection experience. Experience within multi-entity environments is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Intermediate-to-advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, specifically VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables (non-negotiable).
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the adaptability to build rapport across various North American regional clientele.
• Work Arrangement: Willingness and capability to work on-site 5 days per week with an early start time (7:00 AM – 8:30 AM) to align with East Coast hours.
