Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements and elimination entries for multiple entities and currencies.
- Perform and reconcile intercompany transactions, resolving discrepancies with stakeholders.
- Analyze variances and provide financial insights to support management and external reporting.
- Maintain consolidation models, intercompany reconciliation tools, and the global chart of accounts.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to optimize intercompany reporting and period-end close.
- Support the accounting team with journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and annual financial statements.
- Assist with external audits and tax-related requests for intercompany transactions.
Qualifications
- CPA designation required; Big 4 audit experience is an asset.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Experience with consolidation models in large organizations and multi-currency environments.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills; able to handle large data sets and perform detailed financial analysis.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong commitment to accuracy and completeness.
SAP experience is a strong asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
