Responsibilities
- Supervise and certify the calculation of Net Asset Value (NAV) for complex fund structures
- Manage the full cycle of producing annual and interim financial statements under IFRS standards
- Prepare performance attribution reports and explain variances compared to benchmark indices
- Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors; prepare audit files and respond to complex inquiries
- Identify inefficiencies and lead projects to automate financial data flows
- Collaborate on the implementation or upgrade of accounting software and reporting tools
- Provide technical support to portfolio managers and operations teams on the accounting impacts of investment strategies.
Qualifications
- Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (CPA is an asset).
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in fund accounting or asset management.
- Strong rigor, autonomy, and ability to manage priorities in a changing environment.
- Advanced Excel level (complex functions) and knowledge of fund software (an asset).
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with various financial and accounting teams.
