Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements and internal management reports
- Actively participate in the monthly closing process and the preparation of complex journal entries
- Perform performance analyses (budget variances, profitability, costs, margins, cash flows)
- Support operational teams and management in budget planning and financial forecasting
- Assess, document, and optimize accounting and financial processes to increase efficiency and reduce risks
- Collaborate on automating reports and dashboards using BI tools and advanced Excel
- Participate in the implementation or enhancement of ERP systems and financial tools
- Identify best practices and contribute to the standardization of procedures within the team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA designation or in progress, a significant asset
- 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, and process improvement
- Strong understanding of the full accounting cycle and IFRS/ASPE principles
- Excellent Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems and BI tools
- Analytical mindset, rigor, proactivity, and a continuous improvement orientation
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and transforming environment
