Responsibilities
• Document current and future payment service processes including reconciliation, error management, and commissions.
• Facilitate workshops with process owners and subject matter experts to define business, financial, and operational goals.
• Create comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and RACI matrices to support the optimization strategy.
• Lead business process walkthroughs to assess the impact of anticipated changes on complex systems and organizational structures.
• Manage stakeholder engagement effectively to navigate organizational change and mitigate resistance regarding process automation.
• Identify interdependencies across multiple workstreams to ensure harmonization of deliverables between cross-functional teams.
• Prepare high-level functional and non-functional requirements to support the transition into the project execution phase.
Qualifications
• Experience as a Business Analyst supporting large, complex enterprise initiatives, particularly within Finance, Energy, or similar industries.
• Proven ability to facilitate in-person workshops and manage relationships with diverse stakeholders in a hybrid setting.
• Strong proficiency in standard BA tools and methodologies for process mapping, data analysis, and requirements documentation.
• Experience with financial processes such as payments, reconciliation, and commissions is highly preferred.
• Ability to work onsite in Calgary to collaborate closely with leadership during the initial requirements gathering phase.
