As a Senior Business Analyst, you will interact directly with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to elicit, analyze, document, and validate complex functional and non-functional requirements. Operating fully onsite in Toronto within iterative Agile development frameworks, you will lead JAD sessions, author end-to-end business cases, build user stories, map business process flows, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Develop end-to-end business cases, cost-benefit analyses, ROI evaluations, and feasibility studies for enterprise technology initiatives.
Apply business process re-engineering concepts to identify optimization opportunities and promote cost-effective service delivery models.
Partner with UX designers, solution architects, and software developers to ensure business requirements align with technical capabilities and user experience goals.
Create and manage requirement traceability matrices, system diagrams, process flows, and stakeholder impact assessments.
Manage organizational change processes by defining change scope, conducting impact analyses, and developing training and communication strategies for end-users.
Coordinate and support quality assurance and testing activities, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring functionality aligns with business requirements.
Support procurement and vendor selection processes by helping draft RFP requirements and evaluating vendor responses.
Author comprehensive project documentation, briefing notes, status reports, and executive presentations for technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications
Core Business Analysis & Technical Requirements
Business Analysis Tenure: Extensive experience serving as a Senior Business Analyst or Functional Consultant on medium to large-sized enterprise IT projects.
Workshop Facilitation & Requirements: Proven expertise leading stakeholder workshops, JAD sessions, and interviews to elicit and document complex business requirements.
Agile Methodologies: Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies, sprint planning, and the ability to break down complex requirements into manageable deliverables for development teams.
Business Case Development: Demonstrated experience authoring full business cases, feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, and ROI models from start to finish.
Tooling Proficiency: Hands-on experience with business analysis, modeling, and prototyping tools such as Azure DevOps, MS Visio, and Figma.
Enterprise Architecture & Testing: Strong knowledge of enterprise business architectural concepts, risk management, and QA/UAT testing frameworks.
Preferred Experience & Digital Standards
Change Management & Prototyping: Experience conducting change impact assessments, developing end-user training materials, and translating requirements into interface mockups.
Accessibility Standards: Familiarity with digital accessibility guidelines, including AODA and WCAG requirements.
