Responsibilities
Integration Engineering: Write detailed functional and technical specifications for highly complex data integrations between multi-layered legacy applications and cloud systems.
Database & Query Development: Design, maintain, and debug advanced Oracle PL/SQL components, including database packages, procedures, triggers, and functions.
System Mapping: Define, interpret, and map database table and field specifications for highly interdependent enterprise databases, managing updates to new vendor, employee, and account coding structures.
Architectural Modeling: Create and consume data models, entity-relationship diagrams (ERDs), database schemas, and architectural solution diagrams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a core technical resource on a distributed project delivery team, actively participating in team scrums alongside project managers, developers, DBAs, and business users.
Documentation & Testing: Build and execute meticulous integration test plans leveraging automated tools, parse XML data integrations, and compile thorough system documentation.
Qualifications
Core Experience Baseline: * Minimum 15 years of total IT sector experience.
Minimum 10 years of dedicated experience working as a Programmer Analyst.
Minimum 7 years of dedicated experience working as a Business Systems Analyst.
Domain Expertise (Mandatory): Minimum 3 years of experience working on a transformative ERP implementation project within a Canadian public service environment involving complex legacy application interdependencies.
Technical Stack Depth (Scored Criteria):
5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in Oracle development, specifically including Oracle Forms and Reports, advanced database querying, and reading complex schemas.
3 to 5 years of experience working with a major Oracle Fusion implementation program.
3 to 5 years of experience building and analyzing data integrations using XML.
Asset: 1 to 3 years of development exposure within the Microsoft .NET stack (VB.Net, C#, MS Forms, Visual Studio).
Language & Authorization: Advanced, targeted written and verbal fluency in English. Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
Certifications (Asset): Holding a current Oracle Associate or Professional Certification is highly preferred.
