Responsibilities
Lead the development and enhancement of our DFAST (Dodd-Frank Act Stress Testing) models for bank capital forecasting.
Create and document robust benchmarking models to project risk-weighted assets (RWA).
Conduct in-depth scenario analysis and capital analytics to evaluate the financial impact of potential mergers and subsidiary restructurings.
Review and strengthen our Bank Capital framework, establishing new controls for due diligence, governance, and attestation.
Drive process improvements by assisting with the automation of our ERP systems and Alteryx workflows.
Collaborate effectively across teams, communicating complex financial concepts clearly to various stakeholders.
Qualifications
Experience: Direct experience in financial reporting, external reporting, or a related field within the financial services industry is preferred. Experience with an external accounting or audit firm is a strong asset.
Skills: Strong analytical skills with a good understanding of financial statements and GAAP. Familiarity with SAP, Alteryx, or similar systems is highly desirable.
A strong accounting or finance background, with direct experience in financial reporting or public accounting. knowledge of Doodd-Frank regulatory environement
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
