Responsibilities
Change Strategy & Implementation: Develop and lead organizational change management (OCM) initiatives, including the creation of communication and training artifacts to ensure smooth transitions.
Operational Process Design: Develop and implement new operational processes that align with regulatory requirements (PHIPA) and organizational strategic goals using Six Sigma or Lean methodologies.
Project Leadership: Partner with Project and Program Managers to manage project goals, risks, scope, and quality; drive project document deliverables and maintain status reporting logs.
Stakeholder & Partner Engagement: Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with internal and external stakeholders, vendors, and clinical partners to translate business needs into technical requirements.
Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify potential risk events and implementation barriers, developing mitigation strategies and escalating critical issues as required.
Standards Compliance: Provide guidance on conformance testing practices and digital health standards, including HL7 FHIR, V2, and V3, as well as clinical terminologies.
Qualifications
Experience: 7+ years of demonstrated experience in leading organizational change management and project management within a complex environment.
Healthcare Expertise: Deep knowledge of the Canadian healthcare system (acute, primary, and/or community care) and a solid understanding of company health assets.
Regulatory Knowledge: Expert working knowledge of the Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA), 2004.
Technical Standards: Familiarity with HL7 FHIR, Terminology Standards, and compliance testing practices.
Process Improvement: Proven mastery of Lean or Six Sigma concepts to drive efficiency and quality.
Coordination Skills: 5+ years of specific experience in project coordination, managing action items, and maintaining high-level progress reporting.
Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with a track record of meeting strict deadlines.
