- Base Salary Range for SENIOR CONTROLLER $115,000 - $130,000 plus profit sharing
At our Cascades facilities in Wagram, North Carolina you can develop your full potential, sustainably, by applying your expertise within the Cascades Tissue Group as the Senior Controller.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as a business partner to plant management driving efficiency and improved cost controls.
- Identify opportunities in current performance and assist in developing solutions.
- Drive a daily focus on continuous improvement by creating, communicating and monitoring plant specific key performance indicators.
- Educate plant management on operational levers that affect financial performance and help to drive improvement and ownership within the plant.
- Ensure that accounting for inventory quantities, capital assets and operating costs is reliable, complete, and accurate.
- Participate in all budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Must deliver accurate financial projections by collaborating with plant leadership.
- Rigorously analyze operating cost performance indicators and effectively communicate results to plant management.
- Ensure accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports; lead discussions for all financial portions of monthly financial reviews
- Champion the capital planning process, monitor project spending and ensure timely capitalization of assets.
- Contribute to your plant’s decision-making process by performing accurate financial analysis of all spending and operating performance.
- Support your sector’s management in improving business processes.
- Maintain a strong internal control environment to minimize the business risks inherent in operations and fraud.
- Be a thought leader willing to share best practices across the Tissue Group.
- Develop an informed, analytical finance organization in the plant to assist in building bench strength for future finance leadership.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE & STRENGTHS
- Accounting or finance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment preferred.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills and ability to set priorities.
- Leadership and expertise in promoting buy-in to proposed solutions
- Must have SAP experience
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
- 7+ years’ experience of related professional Managerial Accounting experience.
- Proficient in MS Office with high proficiency in Excel.
- Knowledge of SAP software
- Must have valid U.S. Passport and willing to travel 10%.
