Responsibilities
-Implement and enhance complex credit risk stress testing and forecasting models.
-Conduct in-depth analytics and reporting, including scenario, sensitivity, and attribution analysis.
-Build and maintain the analytics platforms that support your work.
-Clearly and effectively communicate model methodologies and maintain meticulous documentation.
-Ensure all models and processes adhere to the organization's Model Risk Policy and relevant Data Governance requirements.
-Contribute to the enhancement of existing models and develop new credit risk models for emerging business lines as needed.
Qualifications
Must-Haves:
-A Master's degree or higher in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Mathematics, Financial Engineering, or Economics.
-Proven coding experience with SAS.
-A strong foundation in credit risk models or stress testing models and processes.
-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
-Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Nice-to-Haves:
-Proficiency in other programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or C++.
-Prior experience developing credit risk or stress testing models for a bank's lending portfolios.
