existing ecosystem. You will act as the "architecture lead," guiding multidisciplinary teams to ensure that new data solutions are robust, scalable, and fully aligned with enterprise architecture standards. This is a 6-month renewable contract, offered on a fully remote basis. Candidates must be available for occasional in-person travel to Montreal or Quebec City.
Advantages
Enjoy the flexibility of a 100% remote position with a 6-month renewable contract.
Play a high-impact, strategic role as the "architecture lead" for new data technology integration.
Work with a modern data stack, including technologies like Snowflake, Salesforce, Hubspot, and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
Exercise multidisciplinary leadership, guiding analysts, developers, and external vendors.
Join a key Client Analytics team at a leading Canadian financial institution.
Responsibilities
Act as the end-to-end architecture lead for data solutions, guiding all aspects (system, technology, and organizational).
Design and develop comprehensive IT architecture solutions (process, applications, data, technology) that align with enterprise standards.
Ensure the seamless integration of new solutions into the existing ecosystem, proposing pragmatic workarounds for complex challenges.
Provide multidisciplinary leadership to delivery teams (analysts, developers, vendors) to ensure the solution's integrity from design to delivery.
Maintain traceability of all architectural decisions and certify technical project documentation.
Collaborate with enterprise architects to ensure adherence to corporate design patterns, standards, and tools.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, Data Architect, or a similar senior role.
Advanced, expert-level knowledge of data management best practices, data architecture, data modeling, and data quality.
Core Technology Experience: Hands-on experience with modern data platforms. Specific knowledge of Snowflake, Salesforce, Hubspot, and/or Azure Data Factory (ADF) is highly sought after.
Proven leadership, strategic thinking, and the political acumen to navigate complex enterprise environments.
Languages: Proficiency in French is required, with at least functional English. Full bilingualism (French/English) is a strong asset.
**Our client operates in Canada. The company takes all reasonable steps to limit the number of positions in Quebec that require knowledge of a language other than French, and only requires it when necessary and its existing bilingual employees are unable to perform these duties.
Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in English (both spoken and written). In particular, this position will require the employee to interact with centralized internal departments (e.g., Operations / HR / Finance / Legal / Contracts / Sales) that support the organization in Canada and that do not speak French.**
Summary
We are seeking a strategic and seasoned Data Solutions Architect to lead the design and integration of new data technologies for our Client Analytics division. This is a 6-month remote contract for a leader with deep expertise in modern data architecture and platforms like Snowflake, Salesforce, and Azure Data Factory. If you excel at guiding multidisciplinary teams and designing end-to-end solutions, we invite you to apply.
