Responsibilities
Maintain and enhance GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines used to build, test, package, and promote application and infrastructure components across environments.
Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot AWS Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions utilizing CloudFormation and AWS CDK written in Python and JavaScript.
Deploy, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot workloads running on Amazon EC2 and Amazon ECS, including container task definitions and runtime settings.
Manage, configure, and troubleshoot Mirth Connect integration engines on Amazon ECS, including channels, connectors, JVM runtimes, certificates, and secrets.
Build, maintain, patch, and promote standardized Linux machine images using automated AWS EC2 Image Builder pipelines.
Oversee PostgreSQL database operations, managing user access, connectivity, backups, performance tuning, and operational troubleshooting.
Administer Amazon OpenSearch Service clusters, ensuring cluster health, capacity planning, index management, access controls, and query performance.
Configure and support AWS messaging and storage infrastructure, including Amazon SQS queues, Data Firehose streams, and S3 storage.
Maintain NetIQ IAM integrations and SMART on FHIR/OAuth application settings, managing OAuth2/OIDC clients, scopes, redirect URIs, and token endpoints.
Support secure application connectivity and endpoints between cloud platforms, external eReferral systems, and enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) platforms.
Implement operational diagnostics, logging, alerting, and interactive performance dashboards using AWS CloudWatch and security tooling.
Perform root-cause analysis, incident response, patching, capacity management, and release support across non-production and production environments.
Author comprehensive technical documentation, architecture blueprints, deployment guides, operational runbooks, and deliver structured knowledge transfer.

Public Sector Experience: Mandatory prior experience working within public sector environments.
CI/CD & Infrastructure-as-Code: Strong hands-on experience designing and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, paired with expert AWS CDK (Python/JavaScript) and CloudFormation experience.
AWS Cloud Operations & Runtimes: Proven experience supporting applications on Amazon EC2 and Amazon ECS, alongside deep troubleshooting skills across Linux, Tomcat, Java, Spring Boot, and Node.js environments.
