Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the production manager, the electronics technician assumes the following responsibilities:
Perform rigorous testing, precise diagnostics, and complex repairs on flight units and printed circuit boards (PCBs).
Carry out high-precision soldering on miniature electronic components according to strict aerospace standards.
Handle specialized measuring instruments and manual or automated test benches to calibrate systems.
Thoroughly analyze technical documentation, electrical schematics, and assembly plans to resolve complex failures.
Document technical interventions and collaborate with the engineering team to optimize product performance.
Qualifications
To succeed and thrive in this electronics technician role, you must possess the following skills and requirements:
Diploma of college studies (DEC) or professional studies (DEP) in electronics engineering, electronics technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in high-precision soldering and diagnosis of complex printed circuit boards (PCBs) in an industrial environment.
Fluent bilingualism in speech and writing (French and English) to communicate effectively with international partners and clients.
Excellent manual dexterity, great attention to detail, sharp observation skills, and strong analytical capacity.
Legal authorization to work in Canada and permanent residency in the greater Montreal area.
