As a senior energy efficiency project engineer, you will join an organization founded nearly 100 years ago that has successfully embraced the green technological shift. This position, based in Montreal, involves leading the implementation of complex HVAC concepts from A to Z, while mentoring local technical resources to ensure the energy performance of major projects across Canada.

Real Flexibility: 40-hour work week with no "punch clock" system and a hybrid model (3 days in office / 2 days at home) after the probation period.
Prime Location: Beautiful office located in Old Montreal, with the possibility of working occasionally from the North Shore (Laval).
Guaranteed Rest: 4 to 6 weeks of vacation per year (including the mandatory two weeks of construction holidays).

Responsibilities
Design complex HVAC systems from A to Z specifically for existing buildings as a senior energy efficiency project engineer.

Participate in business development and meet with clients to evaluate their engineering needs.
Monitor the energy performance of implemented projects.
Conduct site surveys and perform precise load calculations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
Active member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) with the seal to sign plans.
Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in building mechanical systems.
Mastery of design for existing buildings (industrial, commercial, or multi-residential sectors).
Experience with a specialized contractor or a competing consulting engineering firm.
Strong desire to progress in a fast-growing organization as a senior energy efficiency project engineer.
