Responsibilities
This is a key position within the Finance team, reporting directly to the Manager of Financial Planning. You will be responsible for providing in-depth analysis and commentary to help key stakeholders make informed decisions.
Your core duties will include:
- Sales Target Setting: Lead the development of the annual sales targets by managing timelines, working with the sales management team, and compiling review packages.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Own and support the corporate budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, developing templates and working with cross-functional teams to consolidate information.
- Financial Reporting: Support the production of accurate monthly reports and conduct in-depth variance analyses to highlight key performance drivers and identify areas for cost savings.
- Strategic Analysis: Provide analytical support for business cases and special projects, from evaluating investment opportunities to tracking the impact of raw material costs and price changes.
- Business Partnership: Build and maintain strong working relationships across internal departments, offering ad-hoc analysis to enhance understanding of performance.
Qualifications
- University degree is required; an MBA or CPA is preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in financial analysis within a corporate finance team (manufacturing, retail, or wholesale experience preferred).
- Proven track record of problem-solving and process improvement.
- Strong attention to detail and self-motivation.
- Expertise in Excel and financial modeling; knowledge of VBA and MS SQL is a plus.
- Logical thinker with the ability to break down complex issues.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage tight deadlines and multiple priorities.
