Responsibilities
- Produce monthly financial statements and performance reports for management.
- Participate in the implementation or optimization of accounting and reporting tools (ERP, BI, Excel/Power Query/Power BI automation).
- Collaborate on accounting process improvement and internal control projects.
- Contribute to the implementation of new practices related to the growth of the company.
- Work closely with the investment and treasury teams.
- Provide financial support to operational teams in understanding results.
- Participate in month-end, quarter-end and year-end processes.
- Prepare external audit documentation and respond to auditors' requests.
Qualifications
- University degree in accounting, finance or related field.
- CPA designation (or in the process of being obtained) an asset.
- 3 to 6 years of experience in accounting, ideally in a company or firm with exposure to the financial or investment sector.
- Excellent command of Excel (modeling, cross-tabbing, complex formulas).
- Knowledge of Power BI, Power Query, or other data visualization tools an asset.
- Experience with a large ERP (SAP, NetSuite, Dynamics, etc.).
- Rigor, attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player and communication skills.
