This position is essential for maintaining our client's high standards of productivity and safety within the dynamic Manufacturing & Logistics environment.
The ideal Senior Forklift Operator has solid experience handling different types of forklifts and excels at complex logistical tasks. We are looking for someone who is computer-savvy and can easily integrate into warehouse management systems. The work schedule is daytime, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, providing a stable routine for an excellent work-life balance.

Responsibilities
- Performing complex material handling and product storage and retrieval tasks.
- Taking responsibility for overall warehouse organization and maintaining cleanliness.
- Operating multiple types of forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach, etc.) safely and efficiently.
- Training junior staff on best practices for equipment use and safety.
- Conducting routine equipment inspections to ensure proper functioning and reporting any failures.
- Coordinating workflows and shipments/receipts with team leads or supervisors.
- Ensuring strict compliance with all current safety standards (OHS) in the Manufacturing & Logistics field.
Qualifications
- Significant experience (senior role) as a Forklift Operator in a warehouse or Manufacturing & Logistics environment.
- Valid Forklift Operator License (cariste card/certification) is essential.
- Proven ability to perform work with minimal autonomy.
- Demonstrated ability to train and mentor other operators.
- Advanced proficiency in forklift operation and handling techniques.
- Strong skills in autonomy and quick decision-making.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage warehouse space optimally. • French communication skills (written and oral).
- Ability to work in a team and demonstrate positive leadership.
- Computer skills for using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or tracking software.
- Constant attention to detail and commitment to a safe work environment.
