Responsibilities
-Serve as the primary liaison for assigned clients, understanding their transportation needs and delivering proactive logistics solutions internally and with external partners
-Coordinate dedicated transport runs, including routing, load entry, and shipment tracing
-Close out files upon delivery, ensuring all information is accurate in the shipping management system
-Communicate with carriers to negotiate rates, secure capacity, and monitor performance against service expectations
-Troubleshoot delays, resolve service issues, and implement corrective actions (e.g., cross-docking) to maintain customer satisfaction
-Book loads with appropriate carriers using Loadlink and other technology platforms
-Carrier procurement and ability to build relationships with existing and new suppliers is an asset
-Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve service quality, and reduce costs
Build and maintain strong client relationships, supporting growth and strengthening partnerships
Qualifications
-5+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations
-Proven experience in customer account management or client-facing roles
-Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
-Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and track evolving shipments
-Detail-oriented, reliable, and proactive, with a strong follow-through mindset
-Ability to work well under pressure and follow direction to meet company objectives
-Proficiency in TMS (Transportation Management Systems), Loadlink, and MS Office Suite; adaptable to new tools
-Post-secondary education in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field is an asset
