Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Advisory & Stakeholder Engagement:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal Finance partners, business leaders, external auditors, and regulatory bodies.
Effectively communicate actionable recommendations on complex financial management issues and operational processes across all organizational levels.
Provide strategic finance insights and guidance on assigned business portfolios, journeys, and key initiatives.
Evaluate and develop significant business cases and new initiatives, applying expertise in accounting practices, tax implications, forecasted rates of return, and benchmark analysis.
Contribute finance due diligence and analytical support for potential restructures, acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures.
Financial Governance, Risk & Operational Oversight:
Manage overall team budgets, revenue, and expenditures to drive efficiency, effectiveness, and strategic alignment.
Leverage data systems and analytical tools to formulate structured solutions for business challenges.
Identify, manage, and mitigate financial, operational, and regulatory risks; escalate high-risk transactions appropriately.
Stay current on emerging industry trends, market conditions, and evolving regulatory requirements to recommend operational and technical improvements.
Lead the annual business planning process and maintain a robust risk-based management culture aligned with enterprise risk appetite.
