Architecture & Strategy: Lead technical architecture across Seaquyl OS and Seaquyl Node, designing scalable multi-tenant systems and operational workflows. ● Project & Team Management: Direct and manage internal project execution, optimizing team workflows, removing bottlenecks, and tracking milestones to guarantee timely delivery. ● People Leadership: Direct, manage and mentor developers, conduct rigorous technical reviews, and drive technical hiring and developer onboarding. ● Engineering Standards: Define and enforce high-quality development standards, security protocols, and engineering best practices. ● Core Initiatives: Lead the implementation of major platform initiatives and guide system design for specialized modules, including offshore operations, processing, machine vision, condition monitoring, and analytics. ● Quality & Reliability: Oversee end-to-end release quality, platform performance, security, and system reliability. ● Leadership Alignment: Collaborate directly with product and executive leadership on strategic roadmap planning.
Qualifications
Professional Experience: 8+ years of professional software development experience. ● Management Experience: 3+ years of direct experience managing agile engineering teams, handling resource optimization, and driving project deadlines. ● Backend Expertise: Expert-level TypeScript and Node.js expertise. ● Data & Systems: Deep experience with PostgreSQL and distributed systems. ● Leadership Track Record: Proven leadership of engineering teams and successful delivery of technical projects. ● Enterprise Software: Experience designing enterprise SaaS platforms. ● Infrastructure: Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, containerization, and deployment automation. ● Communication: Exceptional communication, prioritization, and technical decision-making skills. Preferred Experience ● IoT, industrial systems, telemetry, or edge computing. ● Multi-site operational software platforms. ● High-availability and offline-capable architectures. ● Startup or early-stage product development.
