      Are you looking for your next opportunity as a Project Manager?Are you available for your next contract opportunity?We are pleased to offer you this new and exciting contract requirement with our client for the position of:Project ManagerPROJECT:-Start: ASAP-Estimated length: 12+ months-Location: Halifax or REMOTEPLEASE NOTE: This is a Halifax or REMOTE work optionAdvantagesYou will be working with our client who is a leading employer in the local market.ResponsibilitiesAs a Project Manager you will be responsible for:· Lead the development of the Project Charter, project plans, project reports and project management deliverables.· Plan, organize, and control the activities of the Project team.· Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigating actions/strategies.· Lead, support and follow-up on the execution of the Integrated Project Plan.· Identify resource requirements and integrate new team members into the Project.· Monitor, evaluate, and report on the progress of the Project team.· Monitor, evaluate, and report on Project performance (budget, cost, schedule, scope, quality, risk, and issues).· Ensure that work results are compliant with the stated requirements, priorities, and strategies of the Project.· Maintain a liaison with the client representatives and external providers/vendors to coordinate Project activities.· Manage the scope change control process.· Assure quality control through deliverable preparation.· Manage the deliverable review and approval process and obtain written approval for contracted deliverables.· Lead project progress and status reviews.· Recommend corrective actions to the Program Manager and ensure execution of approved corrective actions.· Proactively raise project issues and risks, as well as quality and scope deviations.· Escalate issues, risks, and problems to the Program Manager when the situation so requires.QualificationsAs a Project Manager you have the following experience:-University degree or Diploma in Computer Science or relevant industry experience· 3 or more years leading IT projects· Experience with medium-sized project teams, $500k+· Experience with software upgrades experience in software upgradesADDITIONAL NICE TO HAVE:· PMP or similar certification/experience considered an asset· Experience in digital service implementation projects an asset· Experience in solution delivery projects an asset· Experience in agile methodology an assetSummaryDo you have this experience?
