As the Senior Manager, BlackLine Capability Hub, you will be at the heart of a major BlackLine implementation. This role isn't just about maintenance; it’s about leadership, configuration, and optimization. You will partner directly with Finance leadership and Technology stakeholders to build a robust global reconciliation process that ensures the accuracy of the balance sheet across the entire group of companies.
This is a 6-month contract starting March 30, 2026, with a strong possibility of extension or permanent conversion based on business needs and performance.
Work Model: Hybrid (2 days on-site per week: Monday and Tuesday).
Location: Downtown Toronto.
Schedule: 37.5 hours/week, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Overtime may be required with prior approval).

Responsibilities
• Strategic Execution: Execute the Global Balance Sheet control strategy to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Platform Mastery: Oversee the administration, configuration, and maintenance of the BlackLine platform.
• Implementation: Evaluate and execute the onboarding of new reconciliation processes onto BlackLine.
• Training & Adoption: Develop and deliver training programs for system users and local administrators to drive platform value.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement automation opportunities through BlackLine workflows and best practices.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between Finance, Technology, and Business units for all BlackLine-related initiatives.
• Change Management: Lead initiatives for system upgrades, new module rollouts, and operational process changes.
Qualifications
Must Haves:
• BlackLine Expertise: Minimum of 3 years of direct experience with the BlackLine platform.
• Professional Experience: At least 5 years of experience in financial systems administration, accounting, or finance operations.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Communication: Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and direct individuals across diverse teams.
Nice to Haves:
• CPA Designation: A Chartered Professional Accountant designation is highly preferred.
• ERP Knowledge: Previous experience working with SAP.
• Analytical Prowess: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to perform complex analytical analysis for management decision-making.
