Develop, implement, and manage effective compliance programs in accordance with internal frameworks and regulatory requirements
Conduct compliance risk assessments and identify areas of regulatory exposure
Provide independent oversight and challenge on high-risk activities and strategic initiatives
Advise internal stakeholders on compliance matters, regulatory obligations, and best practices
Monitor regulatory changes and communicate relevant updates to impacted business areas
Oversee and support the development and delivery of compliance training and awareness programs
Lead compliance reporting activities, including metrics, dashboards, and presentations to senior management and governance bodies
Collaborate with business, risk, legal, and audit teams to resolve compliance issues and strengthen internal controls
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, or a related field
Minimum 7–10 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or internal audit within the financial services industry
Strong knowledge of Canadian regulatory requirements and global compliance frameworks
Recognized compliance designation or certification (e.g., CAMS, CRCM, CCEP) is an asset
Demonstrated ability to provide credible challenge and influence senior stakeholders
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
Experience developing compliance oversight frameworks, testing programs, and reporting tools
