This role operates at the intersection of finance, actuarial, systems, and data transformation, with a strong focus on IFRS 17 reporting, measurement models, and finance process modernization. The successful candidate will act as a business partner and subject matter expert, driving enhancements across financial accounting, performance reporting, forecasting, and end-to-end finance system integration.
You will be responsible for translating complex accounting and actuarial requirements into scalable, audit-ready business and system solutions while supporting transformation initiatives that improve efficiency, automation, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities
•Lead IFRS 17 enhancement initiatives including policy interpretation, measurement models (GMM, VFA, PAA), CSM mechanics, and reporting requirements
•Drive end-to-end program delivery activities including requirements gathering, testing, cutover, and change management
•Partner with Finance, Actuarial, IT, and external vendors to define and execute system and data integration requirements
•Translate business and accounting requirements into detailed system specifications and testable acceptance criteria
•Identify and support Finance and Actuarial process optimization opportunities, including automation and reduction of manual interventions
•Support controls, audit readiness, SOX compliance, and EUC governance across models, spreadsheets, and reporting tools
•Develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation covering accounting methodologies, systems, and processes
•Support reconciliation design between GL, subledgers, actuarial systems, investment systems, and data warehouse platforms
•Present complex technical and financial concepts to senior stakeholders in a clear and structured manner
Qualifications
Must-Have:
•3–7+ years of experience in insurance finance transformation, accounting, actuarial, or financial systems delivery
•Strong understanding of life insurance products and investment accounting concepts
•Hands-on IFRS experience with proven exposure to IFRS 17 measurement models and reporting frameworks
•Experience producing technical documentation for systems, processes, and accounting methodologies
•Strong project delivery experience in large-scale transformation programs
•Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across Finance, IT, and Actuarial teams
•Professional designation (CPA, CA) or actuarial designation (FSA, FCIA), or advanced degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or related field
Nice-to-Have:
•Experience with GL, subledger systems, actuarial valuation tools, or policy administration platforms
•Familiarity with Accounting Hub, CSM calculators, BI/reporting tools, and cloud-based finance systems
•Exposure to financial data architecture including ETL/ELT processes, canonical data models, and reconciliation automation
