Responsibilities
PMO Strategy & Setup: Design, establish, and implement PMO architecture, governance structures, and operational frameworks for complex client initiatives.
Program Execution: Lead large-scale system implementations, program gateway reviews, project health checks, and quality assurance strategies.
Advanced PMO Services: Roll out leading-practice services, including benefits realization, decision management, document management, and IT governance.
Client & Senior Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with and present to senior program executives, building strategic relationships and driving positive outcomes.
Business Development: Lead client proposal responses (RFPs), participate actively in the consulting sales cycle, and pitch directly to executive leaders.
Team Leadership & Ethics: Manage PMO delivery teams, foster an inclusive, high-performance work environment, and uphold strict codes of ethics and business conduct.
Qualifications
Experience: Extensive background in transformation implementation, including end-to-end delivery of enterprise systems (ERP), major organizational restructurings, or large-scale digital transformations.
Consulting Background: Prior consulting experience with a deep understanding of consulting operations and sales cycles.
Certifications: PMP (PMI), PRINCE2, MSP, Agile, APM BOK, MoR, or Benefits Realization certification.
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of core PM processes (SDLC, IT governance, QA), project management software, and enterprise applications.
Key Skills: Exceptional negotiation, problem-solving, and proposal-writing skills with a track record of managing diverse, high-performing teams.
Clearance Requirement: Must meet the Government of Canada eligibility requirements to obtain and maintain a mandatory Security Clearance.
